One thing that has been a really big help, is having a group to back me up. One thing I have encountered as an agent, and one year in business and new in my area is that I didn’t have any backing. So I had some customers say, “Well, what if something happens to you? What if you’re not here?” And I’m kind of like, “Well, I don’t know…”.
I had to address some issues about who is going to be there if something happens to me. So, as a startup agent, I didn’t have anyone. There’s no one in my family. There’s nobody backing me up. My husband’s not interested… that kind of deal.
So, Agents Alliance provides me not only with the really good family sense of working with them, and they provide a lot of extra knowledge and education and experience that I don’t necessarily have.
But, they’re also my back up. So, if something happens to me, I know that I can count on them to service my customers, for at least a short term, until whatever the issue is gets resolved.
So that’s something I really am glad that I found in Agents Alliance because it offers me the backing and reputation of people who have been in insurance agencies that have been in business since the 1800’s. Not that many people can say that.
